Junction 23 - is a major interchange with the A580 (Manchester to Liverpool) and the A49.

  • Travel north along the A49 towards Ashton-in-Makerfield.
  • Continue along the A49 through the town, toward Wigan.
  • After approximately 1 mile, arrive at the traffic lights at Bryn Cross.
  • Turn left into Downall Green Road.
  • We are about 100 yards on the right.

Junction 24 - is a restricted junction - for traffic from or to the North.

  • Turn left along the A58 towards Ashton-in-Makerfield.
  • After approximately half a mile, arrive at the town centre traffic lights.
  • Turn left onto the A49 towards Wigan.
  • After approximately 1 mile, arrive at the traffic lights at Bryn Cross.
  • Turn left into Downall Green Road.
  • We are about 100 yards on the right.

Junction 25 - is a restricted junction - for traffic from or to the South.

  • Turn right along the A49 towards Ashton-in-Makerfield.
  • After approximately 1 mile, arrive at the traffic lights at Bryn Cross.
  • Turn right into Downall Green Road.
  • We are about 100 yards on the right.
